I got a 1993 jeep Cherokee sport. i picked it up for 100 bucks awhile back. The story goes a guy called a friend of mine, and he called me and said "man my brother-in-law' needs to sell his jeep the police are going to impound it, and he cant move it" so I went and looked at it. This jeep was in kind of bad shape. so I offered a 100 bucks he said deal and i picked it up with a trailer and took it back to my place. chunked a battery in it and she fired right up. I could not believe it. Fuel line was busted so I fixed that and she has always started up for me. the jeep has 178k miles on it too! So i stuck it in storage and now fell on hard times and sold my new truck. I went to pick the jeep up thinking its not going to start, 2 plus years it has been sitting. she fired right up.so now i am all into it and need some info on jeeps and found this site. I live in Texas and am about to start my build ill post up next week going with a 4.5 and bfg's 33\12.5\15 then paint new bumper and new seats.

Good luck on the build. What lift are you looking at going with? You going for looks or a wheeler? If you are lookig to use it i might look into rhinoing the whole thing. Its needs paint slready and i know its getting pretty popular.

The rough country was the one I like for the price. I am thinking about lining up to the door handles then paint the rest, havent made up my mind, the guy I talked to today said about 5$ a square foot so paint might be cheaper

I am having an issue with the 4x4 the light comes on but no front action 4 low 4 high nothing if i shift it real slow it grinds a little bit so i know things are turning can anyone point me in the right direction i am checking the oil in the tcase tue that cant be it tho. any help would be great
