Default New guy from Indy, just introducing myself.

Hello, My name is Daniel. Im 21 I live in Indianapolis, IN.

I've always helped my dad work on his cars as a teen, and I've always serviced my own vehicle. My first car was a truck, a 94 GMC Sierra ext cad short bed. Most recently I got myself an XJ its a 91 Laredo. I got it for 1600 on payments at buy here pay here place. It had 294k on it when I got it, and I've managed to get it up to 301k since I got it in december. It still runs strong and peppy though.

My pops has had jeeps and xj before, but my sister's boyfriend totaled his last one, he recently bought a new one in february from a guy on CL. He got a 95 with 100k and a mutt of a lift on it. Its in bad shape and needs work done. I will b making posts on that subject later.

Oh, and I'm excited because this weekend (pending a babysitter confirmation) I get to put my Rustys 3" lift on along with my 31" Courser MTs and AR Outlaw IIs. SWEEEEET!!!

I'll b posting some pics of mine and my dads jeep in a few days.

Hope to help people and get help here on these forums.

Thanks for reading,

-Daniel

Ya, we got started this weekend, I was feeling a little under the weather, so we were moving slow. Everything was coming off fine thanks to a new impact. Only one of the bar pin bolts on the rear shock broke off. But the front bolts on the leafs gave us HELL. We ended up cutting them. So, now all the rear is off. SO on to bolting on the new stuff.

I'll keep you all updated.

just wanted to say we had got the lift done about two weeks ago. I have been enjoying it since. I've driven it about 600 miles since and it seems to have settled to an even 4" of lift, which looks mean with my 31" courser MT's. I can't believe how much it changes the look of an xj. It just looks BEEFY. I also popped my wheelin cherry two days ago, i had been with my dad and friend before but never driven. I took it through some mud and up a bodacious hill. pretty nice. Can't wait to go again.

I will try and post my crappy phone pics of it.

Default pics up: flexed out on the porch step, then after a lil mud

The first two are pulled up on the first couple steps of the porch to flex it out, just seeing what it looked like. the next two are after a lil wheelin session on fri. I just had to get some mud on it.
