What would you guys value my cherokee at?
Hello everyone. I bought my first xj about 3 months ago. A 00 limited. Its my first jeep. I'll start off with it drives great! I bought it for $1000 from a guy who's grandmother was sick and couldn't drive it anymore. Right off the bat I replaced the coolant system. Thermostat, radiator, water pump. New battery . Brakes front and rear. And 2 new tires in the back. I do absolutely love this jeep but it's a 2000 and it's well known on here that 00-01 are the less blessed years. (0331 head, front axle etc) a member on here who's name I forgot mentioned a while back that I will love this jeep but I will soon see that the grass is greener on the other side and I'll want to make the move to a 98 or 99 and that's exactly what's happening. So I'm just curious about what you guys think my jeep is worth? Here's some pics to help you guys get a better idea of its condition.

Haha, right on.. Looks good. XJ prices do seem to be tending upwards these days. If it all works well I could see you getting ~5k for it. That little bit of rocker rot is pretty normal, but if you fixed that you'd def recoup the money spent.

If the undercarriage is pretty much rust free (checked by someone who knows) I would keep it. Reason good shape, low mileage, leather and most of all unmolested so far. Good clean XJ's are getting harder to find like this one.
The 2 really bad points are the LPD30 can be swapped out for a HPD30 and a new head installed for not a lot of money. The other issues can be lived with as far as the cats, coil packs and extra sensors.
OTOH it is a desirable piece because of it being stock to sell at least in the 3.5-4.5k range as is.

Thanks everybody. I'm testing the waters on my local Craigslist .leather power seats and windows are nice and all but I'd like to score a 98 or 99 sport.
