Default Introductory Novella

Read by Nick Searcy

I'm Rob from Alabama, I've always wanted a jeep, but never had a chance until a very unfortunate accident befell my 1994 Corolla. (7k miles away from 300k). The wife generously allowed a spending limit and the only requirement was "not a wrangler". I found a 1999 Cherokee that I would consider to be in ridiculously good condition, by that I mean the last 10 years worth of maintenance records. The paint needs a little polish but still shines and 100k miles and the interior looks like no one has ever been in the car. After much reading here, and hemming and hawing and breaking the oil filler cap when I was test driving/checking fluids etc. I paid the man and drove her home. Very unlikely to get much of a lift if at all, and I doubt she'll see a whole lot of off road action other than maybe on the way to a campsite, or in a field for some shooting range time. I know, I know, stone the blasphemer.. I will have very little to add, and will probably lurk more than anything. Here she goes.

I'm a computer nerd by day, a gun nerd by day, and I sleep at night.

Cool. I'm a systems guy as well, mostly Linux/Unix. We should start an IT BS thread in off-topic.

And I don't care for cats I should continue to reference the C-a-R word?

Awsome on the 99. I've been searching for one for quite some time. You will find the 99 is the moat desirable. I thought I found my chance when I saw a 99 for sale on side of road but it just had too much rust. I meam the dang roof drip edge was completly gone. A 5 speed at that.
