Hey newbie from NJ
Hi
So I just brought a 1999 XJ with 74,000 miles on it. I am really into cars, but since I attend Lehigh University in PA and the campus is on the side of a mountain i figured i should get something that could handle some snow. Once i looked into it i got hooked on the XJ.
So, my XJ is bone stock
. But hopfully by the end of the summer i can get somethings done on it. I want to eventually do a 2.5" lift and put 30" tires, complete sound system, front bumper, and aux lamps. It doesn't help that i am a broke college student though. I did do some work on it already. The guy that sold it to me cracked the front grill by backing into it with his other truck. So i swapped the grill and A/C condenser.

Welcome from NC. What's your plans on doing a 2.5" lift? You can do a low buck 3" lift for little of nothing and it will preform just as well or better than other kits out there for less money. Throw some 31's on with it and you will have one capable little rig. At least till the jeep bug really bits you
