hey guys I have a 1996 xj and it falls on its face when I mash on the gas. it sat for six months and it started the problem. it really doesn't want to rev at all. but if I slowly roll into the throttle I might be able to hit the rev limiter. after it hits the rev limiter it backfires. and also will backfire out of the intake manifold occasionally. fuel consumption also seems to be higher than normal. it also doesn't have a cat, but ran fine before. I have three cel two for an 02 sensor and also p0108 which is manifold absolute pressure barometric pressure circuit high input. ive tried utilizing the forum and am between a faulty o2 sensor and map sensor. but I don't have the money to play swaptronics. can anyone point me in a right direction

But anyways, how does it idle? Does it sound like it has a miss at idle or does it sound fine? And when you say "falls on its face" what do you mean? Does it die or just acts crazy as you described?
