Another noob from UK
Hi
Been registered for a while, trying to pick up some tips, and thought it was about time to do a proper intro.
Have had lots of cars over the years, with an emphasis on big engined, high BHP BMWs, including an M3 and currently a 540 V8 touring.
Couple of months ago I needed to replace my van with a load lugger that could also serve as a family car as the BM is being sold....a mate of mine had just bought a 2004 Cherokee and his old Cherokee was doing nothing on his drive so I picked it up cheap.
Never driven a jeep or 4x4 before and am getting used to it....and the fun factor....so much so I havent used the BM for about a month.
Its a 2.5L 4 door sport, 1998, in black. Have done a couple of things...serviced it, heat-gunned the door trim to get it back to black, and just fitted an ipod modulator.....got to do something about the wheels and the rear leaf springs need sorting as 1 side's sagging.
I thought it was standard til another Jeep owner asked me today how much it was lifted
...I dont think it is but took a snap of mine behind his...my rear end seemed higher???...and his was WAY too clean IMO
Anyway, long intro...took some photos out in Cheddar Gorge today.....
