Either way, I think folks should refer to the part in question as "4-cyl XJ clutch" rather than "ZJ clutch" to avoid confusion for those who are looking for the part.

Right, but people refer to it as "ZJ clutch", which can lead those looking for alternative (non-NAPA) part #'s the wrong direction. There's a hell of a lot better chance of getting the right part, from NAPA or otherwise, if they search for 2.5L XJ clutch.

Yes and that clutch will also work on a 4.0 ZJ but it is no longer listed for it.

Napa 272310 was the one I ordered and it used to be listed for a ZJ but it' the same fan we have been using to upgrade stock.

Just installed the Napa fan clutch deff bigger then stock not to loud maybe cuz of my exhaust. Didn’t see anything crazy on the cooling but then again I drove to work this morning with it being 55-60 this morning before the heat. No heat or ac on in the jeep during this drive.
