so i want to take out my mechanical fan and put a 16 inch fan in there but have a few questions.
would i need to have a fan shroud for it? over the weekend i had just my other hayden running and the manual was spinning backwards bc of my new belt configuration with the alt at the top so i want the fan out.
also what is the mechanical fan a pusher or puller and what cfm should i be looking at?
i already have a pusher 12 inch hayden that puts out 675 cfms and that kept me around 210 all weekend and the one i am looking at getting is a hayden 16 inch which can be switched to pusher or puller and puts out 1,150 cfms.
what cfms does the stock electric fan produce too for comparison?
any help would be good i am just gonna have these on a switch and put a sticker on my steering wheel saying "fan on?" lol

i think ive read the original e fan is 1,300 all fans on the engine side of the rad are going to be puller any elec fan can be reversed by simply switching the wires around have you considered trying to locate a reverse pitched fan blade for the stock fan and since you mentioned its in reverse now is that the only thing running in reverse? water pump, power steering etc

all the rest is the same bc i moved the alt to the top so instead of going over the top of the fan pulley i went around and looking at it it wouldn't make contact with the fan if i was to go over it like a normal belt up to the alt
i am just gonna wing it and see what happens with the fan from summit and put it on a switch just like my new hayden 12 i just put in too bc my stock fan wasn't working
