XJ steering noob
Hey guys I’ll make it quick. New XJ owner. Bought it with 3.5” RC lift with 31’s on 15’s.
When steering, it feels like it’s in 4wd but without the “hop”. It’s as if when I’m turning the wheel, someone is trying to pull it the opposite direction then letting go quickly in a series of intervals.
I’ve taken it in and out of 4wd to ensure it’s out. I’ve replaced track bar and steering stabilizer. Have upper and lower control arms ready as well as sway links. But, I’m curious if it’s something else. Not sure what these are prone to wearing out and causing this, but I know they’re notorious for front end issues.
Just looking for a place to start, even if it’s with the parts I’ve listed I haven’t put on yet or something else. I appreciate any info, thread suggestions etc. thanks guys!

You might check your castor angle. Lifting that much, it is probably positive instead of negative. That would make it steer harder
