The one question not asked is whether or not these vehicles have full time 4WD. If the fluid coupling is getting worn out, it will tend to be almost locked up and will act like part time 4WD in sharp corners.
i hate that im a motorcycle mechanic yet my knowledge of cars is that of a 10 year old...damn it i guess ill take it into the shop. another sentence you guys probably dont want to hear. thanks!!!

My advice is to take it to a field put it in 4wd drive it around a bit then put it back in 2wd. Sometimes the tcase gets jammed up if youtry and switch from 4 to 2wd on a hard surface.

Sounds like it's stuck in 4wd....like the guys said, check the linkage underneath......if you only feel it on dry, paved roads and not loose gravel, sand, mud, etc. it's a good bet the linkage is gone/rotted. Hope this helps.
