Hey guys I really need some help as I been going in circles trying to get my steering/track bar squared away. I took it to 3 different shops and they all have a hard time. I put a bolt on 3 link, ota track bar, and crossover steering. I’ve honestly tried a bunch of YouTube and forums and still can’t seem to figure out what the problem is. So I took it to get alignment and had the 3 link adjusted. They all say the only thing they can’t do is get my steering wheel straight. Well after getting it back last night I came to the conclusion my axle was not centered I feel like it is now but after adding my sway bar links they are so crooked it’s making me doubt it is now. Not to mention it looks like my driver side spring wants to rub on the inside . After I centered my axle it looks like I have more adjustment on my drag link . I haven’t messed with it in case I mess more things up . Oh btw I have about an 8” lift on it .
Watch a few hundred hours of these videos, educate yourself before moving on. You'll then know just by talking to people what kind of shops your dealing with.
If you think your axle is not centered you can find out and fix that. Put your front end up on short stands. Remove the tires. With the steering pointed straight ahead, put a straight edge on the hub so it is flat. Then measure the distance from the top of the straight edge to the frame. It should be the same on both sides. If not, adjust the track bar. Then adjust the drag link to straighten the wheel
