One more question. Can you use any wheels with them. I read on another thread that only steel wheels will work with disc brakes because of the clearance. I have the stock aluminum 5 spoke 15x7 Jeep wheels.

And IMHO the KJ setup is a better choice, They have anti-rattle clips. Better for the long run, No grooves to weld back up. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/k...ences-1373644/

I got it figured. Snagged an 04 liberty rear end from the JY for $200. Sucks I had to get the whole rear end but its another 8.25 with 3.73 gears, exact set up i have so ill be keeping it just in case. Still pulled the axles and put on mine just to keep myself from doing spring perch work. Thanks for the help.

FYI...
About 6 or 7 months ago:
I converted my 89 XJ Dana 44 to the Tera-Flex rear disc brake conversion.
After the install, I really didn't feel a difference in stopping ability.
The last month or two my brakes have squeeled and the brake pedal pulsed and felt soft.
I got furloughed with the gov't shutdown (Vote out all the democrats) so I've been doing maintenance on the XJ.
I changed the front brakes and the front rotors were really scored bad.
I went to do the back brakes and they looked like they were installed yesterday. No visible wear.
I bled the brakes but no change in stopping or feel.
I then took off the o-ring from the piston in the proprtion valve and bled the brakes again.
Holy stopping power Bat Man! Significant change for the better. I would guess my stopping distance is now half of what it was.
I'll have to get around to doing the brake booster upgrade and really experience some stopping power.
Cheers,
Jason
