I'm gonna go with a 1 inch drop,, but I'm just wondering can you go with a bigger drop, like let's say a 1.5" or something?

It depends. Too much and your engine will rub the fans and it will be hard to shift.

No adaper needed for that one with a front shaft.

But thats a hack and tap. still good, But not as strong as the option you posted earlyer. I have a H&T and it has held up great for me so far (5 years) but will be doing a Full SYE with a new output shaft when the money permits.
