not a bad tire....cooper makes a whole mess of other brands as well. I wouldnt say they are still cooper. Then you would have to say that Hercules tires are still cooper and they just dont come close hahah. That their budget brand essentially. Mastercraft is their middle ground. But they dont really attach their name to either.

i sell tires for a living lol. I will tell you mastercraft is a middle tier tire and the axt is a middle tier as well. The cooper at3 is one of the best all terrains on the market. The axt is ok, but their are plenty of others i would recommend above them in the middle tier. Bfg ko2 tread design is extremely copied, but none of the imitators compare. Theres more to a tirethen tread design...all of our distributors have the coopers about $15 more per tire.... whether they are made in the same facility or not, the same compounds and such are not used. Cooper will use the premium stuff for themselves and the rest of their brands get others. Can't have your lower brands trying to steal the flahships shine haha.... think of it like this. Zone offroad is made by BDS. Zone is a good company and profucts but BDS is on another level.. keep your other brands with good/decent quality to keep your name on good standing haaha

I live in colorado, jk's are EVERYWHERE. that being said I couldn't find a set of 5 beadlock wheels for 125 dollars or steel wheels that would force me to buy a more expensive 32" tire. Add in adapters and I still couldn't find beadlocks for 225.
also, I've yet to take my xj to the mall. It takes me to work and to the mountains. Beadlocks on a daily seems like overkill and I've yet to unseat a tire on any non beadlock rim on any vehicle I've owned. My paint isn't exactly pristine so the look of the wheels was a non factor.
where are you guys finding bead locks for under 200 dollars?

If you really find them that cheap buy and resell them. Here a set of just bare normal rims is 200 and 250 for them with bald street tires on them. And 900 for rubicons with ok tires. The adapters your looking 200 for a set that won't kill you.Raceline steel beadlocks are 224 a rim for 15x7 or used 15x10 off a dirt track car are 150 a set or 2 or less if your lucky.
also the company I used for adapters I've used for cars, trucks and other jeeps I've owned. It appears as though I'm still alive.
the wheels, that's less than 10 ads in.

as a guy building a project whilst keeping cost down I appreciate that I can get wheels and deals here at the prices I can. The last thing I want is to be the guy hoarding wheels to make a profit of some guy I'll likely run into on a trail somewhere. For one is just a ****ty thing to do in my mind and i don't want to spend my time collecting wheels, I'd rather be spending with my family doing things i enjoy.

I live south of Denver. To get to someone's house dependingon where it is it's 2 hours minimum one way . When i want something like that or a part I'll set aside a day on a weekend and get it and anything else people I know want. I don't want to dedicate time to that for a marginal profit. Besides, if I do that and 10 other people do the prices get driven up.

I'm not a fan of the tires either, but I used them until I got my new tires.
