trans opinion. ( need opinions on which would be better)
I'm putting a ls2 in my xj and can't decide which trans to run. I'm thinking a turbo 350 or 4l60e but wanted some opinions. The xj is mainly used for camping and trail riding with some crawling. Thanks

I forgot to mention that the jeep is running 4.10 gears and 33x10.5 tires it has front and rear lockers. I hope this helps. I keep thinking the turbo 350 as I can get a adapter to mount my transfer case to it but need other opinions.

If you are not going to see a lot of higway,DD use the TH350 will be fine without the OD, IIRC the 4L60 has a lower first gear so that may be better for crawling but you will need a TCU for it the 700R4 is the same but is not electrically controlled. HTH

Yeah I plan on driving it on highways to go camping so maybe the 4l60 or 4l80 not really worried about mileage but I already have a turbo350 that's full built but I'm willing to sell it in order to get the best performance from it.
