Angry ****.....water damage. Need Help!

so i put the lift on my jeep and decided to try it out everything went tremendous until i decided to cross a creek and drowned my jeep we pulled the spark plugs and got the water out of the motor and changed the oil(planning to do it again within next 100 miles) the motor sounds healthy and runs good (hardly any water actually got into the oil ). it is throwing 2 check engine codes. one is Po505 witch is the idle control system and the other is po340 witch is the camshaft position sensor (bank 1 or single sensor). after driving it a short distance to see what else was going on i found out that it is not shifting and is going dead. any ideas as to what is causing this? i have to fix this it is my only means if transportation and i am extremely attached. any help will be appreciated

Check the transmission fluid for water contamination, and take apart all the electrical connections, clean them with some contact cleaner and put some dielectric grease on them would be a good start.

Water in the trans fluid will make big problems..Check and change it if contaminated/overfull...Too much water will delaminate the clutch material from the discs...Expect some issues with many systems until the water has a chance to evaporate from all the components
