Default Wanting to hear from those wheeling regularly with spacers/adapters.

So. Found a great deal on a set of 33s on marketplace. They came with 17in jk wheels. Don’t love em, but I have them for now. I had to get some good quality 1 1/2”’ hub centric adapters for the bolt pattern dif. Everything torqued and checked at 90 ft lbs. No problems so far, but still a little Leary of taking them off road.

I want to hear from those that have actually run spacers or adapters off road. I don’t care about the latest hearsay. Actual experience.

Dont know if this is what you want but i have run 1 1/2 spacers on my DD for several hundred thousand miles with no issues on 15x31's. I have never had to retighten due to loosness and i do a lot of towing. Probably 200-250k between both my jeeps. Do your primary lugnuts come loose after wheeling? If so then spacers are not for you..if not then there is no real difference between spacers and main hub studs and nuts but I do not wheel offroad

never had a problem with loose nuts. Haha. But I’ve been wheeling on steelies. Maybe it’s just the aluminum that makes me uncomfortable.

Also running 1.5" spacers on my dd driver a 02 cummins with no problems for 150k now running 33-37" tires.
the truck was oem dualy that had oem 6" spacers now has hub centric 1.5"

People bolt wheels on and they fall off tires shops even lose wheels when wheel comes off on customer.

spacer is no different is not immune to human error quality spacer with quality install wheel have no issues .

Even ****ty spacers with quality install will most likly last the rest of the rigs life. ****ty install and the spacer will be blamed not the installer

I ran spacers and JK wheels on my XJ for years never had any issue. Just be sure they get torqued down right and are good quality and you should be fine.

I run Spidertrax spacers on my trail rig - last time I rotated my tires I checked their torque specs and they were still perfect.
