Default Using "GM fullsize pickup shackles ('95-99)" for lift question

I'm in the process of getting 4.5" of lift put together and I have the 4.5" coils and I'm waiting on Quadratec to ship out my 3.5" RE leaf packs, then buying LCA's, track bar, brake lines, etc.... I see AutoZone has these GM shackles I want to use to get the extra 1" or 1.5" for the rear (I looked up '97 Chevy K2500 4x4) for about $30 a piece. I'd pay that to save time instead of going to the JY. Does anyone know the overall length of those shackles? I just wanna make sure that when I buy them, its the correct ones.
When I go to the store I will ask to see a shackle for an XJ and one for the GM to compare and make sure it looks like I will be getting that 1-1.5" extra height by comparing bolt hole location and width....

But any input or advice from someone that's taken this route and used these shackles would be good to have before hand.

Thanks!!

Alright lemme ask in another way.
Are these shackles sufficient enough for my 3.5" leaf packs to get my 4.5" lift? Or should I spend more than twice as much on "XJ" shackles ($60/pair as opposed to $100 or more for jeep shackles) from a manufacturer that makes shackles for jeeps...???

I found this. Looks like they won't get you quite an inch.

Hmmmmm. well ok then. that sucks...Another reason I have mentioned several times the "what junkyard parts will fit my cherokee" sticky should be updated..........

But then again, if it DID give 1.5" of lift, my rear would be higher than the front if everything gave the amount of lift its advertised for. So maybe 3/4 to 1" of lift from the Gm shackles wouldnt be horrible since all I need is 1" of lift in the rear to match the front...

Thanks!!

The RE leafs will probably set a little higher than advertised or at least that's what you hear so maybe they would work out.
