Default transfer case skidplate jcr or tnt

im looking at both ,i have the 242 tc so the jcr is $215 the tnt is $ 290 . but the tnt is called a belly pan & looks like it also replaces the stock crossmember ? the jcr just attaches to the stock xmember but does go frame rail to framerail. anyone here using either & have any opinions on them before i buy? or suggest any other quality ones. thanks

I run a JCR skid and have no complaints. Will say the TnT gains you some ground clearance. Either way, something is better than nothing.

the skid plate doesnt have the long arm mounts built in, unless you specifically order the one for the long arms, which is more $$

I have the JCR skid, and have beat the hell out of it in the rocks and it has held up great. Just a little paint now and then to keep it from rusting.

I bent my tnt bellypan, bent it back into shape and sold it to some idiot named 93XJLI.

I also beefed it up a little where it bent (right where its notched out for the exhaust tubing)

I have run a dpg belly skid (pretty much the same thing as the jcr) in the past and liked that too. It covers up the stock crossmember.

both are nice units.
