So I went to pull of my Neutral Safety Switch to clean it and found this hose dangling above it. It has a fitting and it appears as if it goes back to the transfer case. But I'm not sure. Maybe a vacuum line?

Grab it and see where it goes. There's only two hoses in that neck of the woods. A TC vent hose with a 5/16" ID, and a transmission vent hose with a 1/4" ID.

A 2995 Cherokee...really?

At least it's not one of those extra long 95' Cherokees. Making turns in those must be a real adventure.
