Was reading the JY build thread and noticed that a 2WD crossmember will drop the case 3/4" without loosing any ground clearance. I can get the crossmember for dirt cheap. I am putting in 2" rear shackles and i am nervous sitting at 4.5-5" is going to be to much...

use a torch to heat the bolts then hit them with pb blaster and work them loose. i soaked mine for a week before I tried and the first bolt broke after a 1/2 turn, all others I used a propane torch to heat then hit it with pb and they all came out no problems.
It is not fun fixing broken bolts.while trying to drill mine out the nut broke loose inside so i had to cut frame rail and weld piece in.
good luck
