Default sway bar options

i just upgraded to 33x12.50 tires from 31x10.50's. the 33's catch the sway bar disconnect storage pegs when i am in full turn. i removed the pegs and everything clears, but if i want to disconnect the sway bar i don't have the storage pegs to support it. what are my options if i want to be able to disconnect the sway bar?

wow. i have heard nothing but good about jks discos, but that mounting location is just stupid. apparently, the instructions say you cant use storage pins if you do not have an oem skid?!

from a quick search, some people have made little metal brackets right behind where the swaybar mounts are. basically a metal tab that sticks down a little, then mounted the storage pins to that. either that, or good old bungees. i don't own the jks discos so can't give you any more details, just some tips that might help.

most other discos have a storage mount up high in the fender well out of the way, but the way jks discos are designed prevents that approach from working

tell me about the bungee method. could i leave one disco connected and just strap the other out of the way?

use nylon straps with little plastic buckles and make a hoop design out of them

Zip ties?

I've been running with my bar disconnected this past week to see if I want to take it off permanently and my bar has been zip tied up high and out of the way.

yep, use zip ties. they work OK. Ive broken a couple while wheeling but in general they keep the swaybar/links up and out of the way
