I guess this little guy is called the link sway bar and it has broken off from the bar it is suppose to connect to on it's top side. (this is the drivers side front wheel)

Is this a simple fix and is this a symptom of a larger problem? Also, I did a quick google search for this and came across all sorts of different aftermarket parts for the link sway bar. I'm not offroading in this machine, I use it for transport; the car is basically stock. If I need to replace it, what would be the most ideal setup for me? Would I do both sides?

Easy job once you get the old parts off. Replace both with aftermarket OEM's. I'd replace the sway bar bushings up front to.

Did this myself recently. Not hard at all. Spray the nuts with some PB blaster early to make it easier. One of mine snapped it was so rusted and launched the socket across the garage.

It is an easy job and can be done with basic tools and some PB Blaster. I would suggest a 1/2 breaker bar to loosen those nuts on the bottom of the links where they bolt to the axle and regarding the other bushings that hold the sway bar to the frame they are specific in the diameter of the bar. I used MOOG bushings on the bar itself and ordered a set of links from Jegs (you can find them cheaper elsewhere though) and couldn't be happier with the outcome since it helped my death wobbles.
