If money wasn't a problem, I'd do a Buick 3800 swap. There are rwd 3800's, and there are RWD superchargers that Holden used in Austrailia on their Commodore that work without being pointed at the firewall like all the American ones.

Actually, if money wasn't an problem, I'd build-up my own turbo 3800 from an aluminum block from TA Performance. http://www.taperformance.com/proddet...?prod=TA_V3800

I love the 4.0, but I love the 3800 soooooo much more as 6 cyl's go. I actually wish I could find an 84-86 XJ just so I could do a 3800 swap and not feel guilty (nobody sheds tears when a GM 2.8 goes bye-bye).

P.S.

if it would fit an atlas 6 cyl out of a trailblazer would be sweet. so much potential.

THAT!!
I already have the adapter for Atlas I6 to AW4 and a rear sump oil pan. Next want to make it run on the Jeep ecu. It will be like a 'Longblock' swap. Gauges and everything. The Jeep won't even know what longblock is in it.
Why? IDK, I just like this engine. A forgotten orphan.

That doesn't work for me. It's fine for a trail rig, but not street legal, OBD compliant.
I want everything to work just like a stock jeep.
The stock ecu can control any longblock 6 cylinder engine. With SCT it is even tunable.
I plan to use Jeep TB (actually a F+B 70mm), Jeep cam, crank, and engine sensors, all accessories. Everything, no interfacing. It will be 'just a longblock' swap.
Plug in to the OBD port and all the stock info will come up, VIN etc.

Just use a thunder bird m90 I made a plate for the ac compressor and I'm working on installing Tommorow with 30lb Volvo injectors.

Pretty simple and cost me about 200-300$

I have a momentums supercharger plate that I can sell

don't mean to 'jack' but the local LKQ has a trailblazer just sitting there..
The whole engine/trans also. Looked like NOTHING was removed from it!
