stuffed
found some harder trails today with some friends and realized that I really need bumpstops on my front...i managed to bend in the front quarter panel from the back of the wheels riding up and in so far...its a 3" with 31's...any other ideas than hockey puck stops? maybe cut fenders with new flares?
Theres some good video of the event occurring and ill have that on tonight

Just get rid of the flares all together. Bw flares aren't worth the money in my opinion. Your state might require fender flares though.

Look at Iceland offroad xj flairs. They are stronger than bushwacker and made of fiberglass. And look bad a$$ if you ask me. And around the same price. And they fit 35s on only 4inches of lift!

I would say trim it and add some more bumpstops. By the way what is wrong with hockey pucks. I use 3 inch bolted in lowerbump stops plus 2 hockeypucks. I wish I had just used hockey pucks cuz they go for a buck or less a piece. Definitely worth it IMO.

just a thougt...what happens if you leave the sway bar connected while offroading on some rough trails. with the swaybar disconnected, big flex is pretty common, but with tires tearing up my front wells im in need of a cheap solution to this. by leaving the swaybar connected, can i destroy it or any other components or should i just stick with some bumpstops and continue to remove the swaybar during offroading? the front end gets a ton of pressure on it on these trails, like in the video above

just cut your fenders for now and leave them open... or make something out of garden edging until you can afford some nice flares that are just going to get smashed offroad
