I seem to only have two options for valve springs.




Mopar magnums at $300 for everything, or have the head machined for different springs.




Mopar Part No.P5249464 is for the springs, part no. P4452032 Mopar 2.2,8 DEGREES keepers, part no. P4529218 for the retainers


Why is there no stock fitment aftermarket stronger spring?


I want to run something like the COMP SK68-239-4, 262 in - 270ex


This is on a stroker for racing



Or should I just chill out and get the SK68-231-4, 250in - 258ex and go

with stock springs for awhile

 

I'm sure stock springs would be ok... As long as you aren't drag racing you shouldn't have any valve float

 

And if I am drag racing?

I am strongly leaning towards the ls stuff now.
