A lot of things to ponder....
I'd think about frame stiffeners also if you have a 350 that's gonna give you an extra 50-60ft lbs of torque. Maybe the frame can handle it, I don't know.... but if this is going to be your toy, and you have the extra time and money to get 'er done, go for it, do it right the first time with a lot of research, and have fun!!

Yup, it can be a disaster and the gain in power is negligible. You ever looked at the torque curve of the 4L compared to a 350? You'll spend all of your time and money on little things like adapters, harnesses, mounts, sensors, fasteners & may end up with an extremely unreliable vehicle. A guy on youtube just finished swapping a gen 3 4.8, 4L60 & a Chevy NP231 into a TJ. It can't even do a burn out or keep up on the highway and it has broken down twice on him. It didn't work out as he expected and he spent over $20k.
