Hey from IN
Hey everybody,
Just wanted to say hey. Just joined the site and I put down the deposit on my XJ today. Can't wait to pick it up on Friday. It's a 2000 Cherokee Sport and it has just at 100,000 miles on it. Of course you all know that these things run forever and since I got a better deal on this than most of the 150,000 mile trucks around here I went ahead and picked it up. It's going to be my daily driver but I plan on doing some slight (at least for now, once the mod bug bites there's no stopping it, haha) modifications to it soon. My other car is an 03 350z in performance trim that's pretty modified, which obviously doesn't do well in the winters. So, now I've got my Jeep and my sports car so life is good, . Any ways, just wanted to say hi and look forward to learning as much as possible on here and hopefully contributing some knowledge down the road! Thanks,
Fletch

Welcome to Jeep Fever!
Welcome to the Forum, I'm new myself. I am from Madison IN, born in Columbus. I have lived in Colorado for 22 years, I've had Jeep Fever for 11 years, no cure it's terminal
Could have Jeep fever in worse places I guess.
Have fun fixin' up yer XJ, I have owned three now, I've gotten the furthest on this one though. This one's got 193K and still will climb right up big rocks!
My buddy cosxjfan has bought the two previous from me and all have over 180k!!!
We wheel all over Colorado and hope to expand into Utah next year. Anyway, welcome aboard and keep me posted on your progress, any questions I can answer just fire away!

Thanks man! Since I made the wife a little mad (by selling the car I bought a year ago and getting another car-it's the 5th car I've had since she met me 6 years ago, haha) I'm chilling on the modding for a little while. Eventually I'm gonna get more into it but for now maybe adding some additional lighting and fixing the stereo (front speakers are out on the jeep). Are the fronts 6.5's and the rears 5 1/4's? That's what I've been reading but I never got any concrete answers for 2000 model year. Thanks again!
