JB conversions has a lifetime warantee and is made in the USA and not china. it has many more design advantages than any other kit out there.

If you have a 242 i would also go with the H&T. but otherwise...you can do an SYE for pretty cheap with a stock front DS.

Just received my SYE. Buying a ZJ front shaft and rebuilding tomorrow.

I have a '98 XJ with the 242,so no true SYE is available.

So..........

Is there a cheaper way to do the same thing? I looked & found a yoke,bolt, & washer,the drill bit & tap were optional,the "kit" was like $90.Seemed a little too much.

Could I go to the JY & get a T-case front output shaft yoke or pinion yoke & accomplish the same thing?

I run a HnT on the wifes YJ...never had a problem. Front shaft off an XJ...AA SYE...works great...

been runing a hack n tap almost a year now on 38inch tires DD and mud truck never any issues ****** out full size fords and chevy every weekend
