Slip Yoke Eliminator Options
I would buy that. anytime you blow up gears/shafts for a box you run the risk of damaging other components. It would be tough to damage a HNT with internal t-case troubles.
That's the main reason I am going with the HnT. Besides money and the amount of work.
I've heard they are just as strong as a true SYE, so I'm confident it will be good enough for a trial run on my rig. If it doesn't work, I will get the SYE, which will replace that shaft anyway.

I found a Rugged Ridge SYE kit for 169.00 shipped, so I think I may do that as well as try and find a front driveshaft. Any ideas of where to get just the driveshaft? We don't have any junkyards around here.

I'm getting mixed signals from multiple people I've talked to about running a front driveshaft with the Rugged Ridge HD SYE. Is it possible to run one out of a ZJ or is going with a custom made driveshaft my only option?
unless there is a significant different between RR and every other SYE a front DS can be fine. If you have a chrysler 8.25, and auto, and small lift it might be a bit tight (shaft too long), but if youve got either a manual, D35, or over 4" lift it should be no problem
Typically you'll need a front shaft from 91 or newer AW4 equipped XJ.
