One more option (if you just want roughly the same width), might be to just get some wheel adapters for the rear. If your front is 6" wider than the rear, then get 2" adapters for the rear (each side), and that will put you where you want to be.
Remember, that daily driven vehicles have 2"-3" wider front axles. (suprises most people to find this out - but it's true). The reason is - it improves your turning radius to have the rear slightly narrower than the front.

Fullwidth axles are not that bad if you get axles with the right amount of backspacing. I am running full width ford f100 axles and they measure 63" with 4" BS I only stick out about 4 inches per side.

Not sure where you are at.. but in my area full width ford axles are 3-500, which is the same as waggy width. Main advantage is the HP 44

i wouldnt consider 63" fullwidth

well finally got a hold of the junkyard that sold me the axle, they have the matching rear and its off a 1983 J-truck (couldnt hear if he said 10 or 20). he couldnt tell me what that was. but hes going to take some pics of it and send them to me. now what were all the kinds of rear axle that were found in those J trucks?

63" is full width for a ford axle... most of your "full width" axles are 65" but some fords came 63"

IIRC j20's are 8 lug and the rear should be a d60. J10's will be a LP d44 and the rear should be a d44 as well.
