i thought this was true. thats how it was in the truck scene when I was in that. Strait up and down gave both ways to move.
posjeepxj...do you personally think shocks will help? Im not trying to get the ride of a caddy, but I feel like its worse than it should be. I think all my springs are settled in since I have lost about .50"-.75" since the original day i lifted it. I just want something halfway pleasent to sit in haha.

X2 give it a little while to soften up if it doesnt get shocks,if that doesn't work get drop brackets which I think is silly,I dont understand lifting your jeep just to lower crap back down where it was and loose clearance. Then there's the long arms.......................jmo

ive never ran rc spring pack nor ever plan to. To expensive for my blood and there are to many junk yard options to justify the extra $350 for full packs. but i bet they need broke in more. maybe call them and ask what the spring rate is on them. or load capasity. i think heavy duty xj leaves are like 750lbs. if thiers are alot more then you found your problem.
your shocks kinda suck anyways so go ahead and spend the money and buy a decent pair.

Shackle brackets add lift not take it away. And no vertical is bad doesn't absorb bumps just transfers. The leaf only needs to compress not to expand. 45 deg angle won't stop expansion just help comperssion

Dont get why you are taking it personal...all i did was ask for advice and options. I wouldnt be asking people if I didnt know. And almost every topic has controversial points...I was just trying to understand.

I'm not taking it personal. Just wanted you to see that when it comes to ride quality, its more like 75% springs & only 25% shocks. Although a lot of thing have to be factored in, but with an almost brand new lift (RC to boot) 99% of the time its gonna be your solid leaf packs! No worries bro, sorry for bustin your *****!
