budget boost shackles on worn springs?
A guy sold me a 2 inch budget boost for $100. Kit came with 2 inch spacers for the front and 2 inch shackles for the back. He also threw in some RE twin tube shocks so i jumped on it. Figured for $100 F it cant go wrong with 2 inches of clearance and better shocks. So i did the front today but the back was a little sketch. My springs are worn flat it's a 91 xj. But the kicker is this is only temporary until I gather what i need for the 4.5 with full leaf packs that I will putting in this jeep. So this budget boost is not permanent otherwise I would spend the $200 on oem leafs but doesn't make sense since I will be replacing with new 4.5 packs anyway. My question is can I do it with my old leafs and be safe it's a DD very mild wheeling if any.
Here's how it looks raked because I haven't done the back.
And here is a shot at my leafs

my lifted spring pack is old and sagged
i put in extended shackles and levelled it out
been a year and a bit, still fine until i get new springs
i vote go for it
