Roof rack mounting
Not getting very many hits in the fab section.
Think i will need gutter mounts to hold my rack on? I designed it to bolt into the factory holes, but I'm thinking i may need more support. Weighs around 40-50 maybe.

Don't have anything useful to offer, just wanted to comment that I love the look of the rack. Being mounted where the factory rails would have been gives it a very nice profile.

I definitely give you an "A" for effort. It look really good mounted to the factory rail location but if you're planning to use the rack along with carrying your spare, I'd strongly recommend mounting it to the gutters. Gutter mounts provide much more support than the somewhat flimsy roof. Good luck with the fab.

That's pretty cool. Using a stock set up like my basket on the stock rails means 150lb limit. So you would have about 100lb limit. If it will barely get used, you should be fine. If you are gonna use it a lot, gutter mounts would be a good investment or creation.
