D60 and a 14 bolt are plenty strong, my son put them in a CJ5 he built. It was running 40's and pushing over 500 hp running on av gas. Never hurt the axles, put 48's on it a month ago to go to Florida and still no problem with the axles. If you just want to throw money away I'll send you my address.

Go to a pull apart junk yard and you can get both the front d60 and 10.25 or corporate 14bolt for under 500. Im possibly getting a d60 front from pull apart for 175

ok after talking with the guy for a bit, he told me that the 2007 dana60 is the better of the ones he has because it came from a f450 and is a "super dana 60" with 35 splines, making it a better more solid diff...
he also told me as for the welding of new coil mounts and all, he said that it would most likely be cheaper and easier to just use coil overs, he said it would be easier to place on the diff and to give better suspension articulation....thoughts?

whats the big advantages/disadvantages to each? which is better?
i can get a d60/10.25 combo for 700$, then i was gonna get these http://www.filthymotorsports.com/Pro...de=FM-AXLETECH porter axle conversion kit to give me better clearance, to roughly 8-10k for 2 fully built axles installed...
or rockwell axles which i dont know much about other than they are military grade...
so for a 98 2 door cherokee, which should i go with, or which would you go with?

I love it when people say "military grade", the department of defense always goes with the lowest bidder.
Sorry to derail, just couldn't resist...
