Go to a wrecking yard and search for a retired police fire or goverment XJ. They have factory tow hooks. And they have all the skid plates. That's what I did.

be carefull when you pull from the front... I had an ARB bull bumper on my old one and it bolted up with the 3 bolts on each side... when I got pulled out, it ripped the bolts straight out of the frame on one side... causing the bumper to crunch my front fender... wasent pretty... BUT I have the JCR prerunner bumper and with the unibody tie-ins, it hasnt given at all and I have been pulled out quite a few times... if your going to pull from a bumper in the front, you have to get those tie-ins

In the back I just have the stock/extra/whatever "draw-tight" recieving hitch (got it at a junk yard for 35$) and it works great.. I actually pulled a chevy 1500 out of a sand bar last night... and he was dug in pretty bad

As a temp recovery for the front go to JCRs website, and look at their tie in brackets. They sell them or you could take a piece of cardboard and make a pattern of one for the passenger side and drill the holes for it in a piece of 3/16s, 1/4 inch steel, and bolt a hook to it for a front recovery point.
