PowerTrax No-Slip vs Lock Right
Which one would be best for icy roads? I'm looking for something that won't send me into the ditches, but will also lock up to get me out if I do end up there or for out on the lakes. Can't have my XJ being a one-wheel-wonder now can I?
Also if there's something else that works well but is cheaper I'd love to hear about it!

being as both are lockers I would go with the powertrax... but I would consider looking at either a selectable or a mechanical limited slip for your rear. I had a detroit in my D35 in mine and loved it but it took some serious learning when dealing with snow and ice. I would also look at getting a limited slip or locker for the front.

How did you like that? I am looking at either getting a mech limited for the rear of my 35 or power trax because I miss the locker. I like the idea of selectable because this is also my daily.

I saw the Aussies are only $250 so i think I'll go with one of those. I've got a D35. Before someone tells me it's a ticking time bomb and not to do anything to it the hardest wheeling I do is some local minimum maintenance roads that would be fine if I slowed down. No rocks around here.
Thanks for the input guys, I've been wanting to do this for the past year and a half and I think this summer I have one finally

I love it. But mine is not a DD. Tires chirp going around turns quite a bit.
