Just got one and want some ideas as to where to put it. I feel the engine compartment is just packed.. thinking of under the bumper...

I put mines kinda behind/inside the bumper like your thinking. Kinda behind but above my driver side fog light inside the bumper. This is Just temporarily as in I plan to get another bumper soon. But yea, I just drilled some holes and ran a few bolts. And it works fine and is loud!

 

No picture now, but I'll try to take some tommorow

 

I am interested in this as well. I have mine inside the engine bay in front of the brake master cylinder but you can't hear it too well outside.

 

Next to passenger side horn. So I can yell at people when I have to pass them! =P

 

I have a large all aluminum 25 watt speaker I had it em my bumper but it stuck out and when I was flexed it tore off so I remounted it under the driver seat under the jeep pics later

 

Thanks for the input guys tomorrow I'm gonna go out there with the speaker and just try to find a spot where it fits, I just want it to be loud and clear( of course).

There it is beside the brake booster. Sits hi and dry, no problem hearing my bark.

 

No where yet but I think I found a spot I'll post a pic tomorrow but it's below the fan belt, right behind the body frame
