Default Noisey springs.

I just finish installing my zone 3 inch lift with leaf springs. They have been on about a week when I noticed the rear leaf spring bushings squeak. Has anyone had this issue. Is it possible to over tighten the bolts? Instructions say 80 ft lbs. that's what I did and they still turned fairly easy in the bushing. I don't know if that's normal. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you tighten the bolts with the weight of the Jeep on them? Or did you tighten them down with the Jeep on jack stands?

I do believe that is your problem. They are noisy. You could put some grease on the bushing & then slid the sleeves in.

I kinda figured that. Was hoping not too have too take them out but that's what I'll do. Any thoughts on how much the bolts rotate after they are installed? Is it possible too over tighten them?

You could spray the bushings with silicone spray and that will quiet them down for a while but poly bushings are noisy. No way around it
