Rear Speaker not working
I purchased a 2015 Jeep Cherokee in February 2015. Suddenly in November the rear speaker started acting up! Whenever the radio or "media" has been on steadily for an hour, the rear speaker (on the passenger side) starts crackling with static and high-pitched, interference-like sounds. Even after I've shut off the engine, the speaker sounds continue for a while. The speaker sound is loud and the static sounds a bit like running water. I'm baffled. Any ideas or suggestion??

Im no expert but i would check the wiring, Have you been blasting the music lately? it might be grounding on something. Endless possibilities with this info.

Rear Speaker not working
Thanks to both of you for responding so quickly. Yes...I was blasting the music on a recent road trip. That's when the problem began. Since then, everything sounds O.K. when you're starting to drive....but after an hour, the speaker starts going crazy.
I'll have the ground/wiring checked and look at the warranty, as you've suggested. Thanks, again.
