What's wrong with mechanical lockers? Adding air or electric is one more thing to go wrong. If your still interested a little in mech lockers read on.

People love the aussie lockers however for the 29 spline they are a wrench to find. However I see more and more member buying the spartan lockers and they love them too. Me personally, I spent some more money and went this the Powertrax No-Slip locker. It's locked all the time but unlocks around the corner.

Ive got an Aussie in the front Dana 30, and a Spartan in the back, 8.25 and they both work very well. The Aussie is kind of loud sometimes, but it was in there when I bought it. I also had a Spartan in the front of my 04 TJ and loved it, with a spooled rear. From what ive seen you cant go wrong with the Spartan.

For the C8.25 you are semi limited, but they do offer inserts. They will push you around a tad and pop and bang on ocassion, but they are reliable, and no thought is needed to opperate. When you want it, its there and doing its job.

I got Spartans for both axles at $565 (thats for both) total to your door in most states. Thats pretty affordable if you ask me? Expecially for the Best and most complete inserts...

This. Super fast shipping. I got mine in like 2 days.
The spartans come with their new hardened cross pin as well and install is pretty easy. I didn't have to pull the carrier on my 8.25. I haven't started the front yet.
