Need help finding projector headlights
I have an HD headlight wiring harness on the way, and I've got a spare set of headlights that I can cut up to make housings. I'm willing to buy other housings to butcher, and I am willing to make room behind the headlights on the XJ.
I've done a bit of research, checked out ebay, ddmtuning, HIDcountry, etc.
A couple of the projector assemblies I wanted are not available. So I have to find something else.
Does anyone have suggestions as to what I should get? Links preferred.
I'm not looking to spend $850-$1200, thinking about $200 should be more than enough for a high quality set.
Any suggestions or input?

From my understanding you didn't like the projectors you bought, and the blue angel eyes are out if stock anyway.
I did read through your build, though, and have used it for reference. I appreciate your information greatly!!

yeah thats what im telling you , the setup i got looked like a sandwich neon sing, it looked awful but this ones look nice , you just have to buy the ccfl lamp , and replace the one you dont like , this only costs 10 us on ebay , so they are pretty cheap i have not receive them yet cause they come from Hong Kong so they will delay !!!

I would have wanted the plain blue halos, but again, they are no longer available.
Either way, I found a direct swap that I decided to try. Less work, less hassle.

Why is what?
I stated I found a set that is a direct swap. The next post asked if there were high/lows available, I'm guessing he was asking about the direct swap ins that I found.
And the answer to that question is: depends on which kit you go with.
If you build the projector like you did, it would depend on which projector you get. And I'm sure you can find a projector with highs and lows.
However, if you buy the direct swap kit like I did, you will have to wait until next month when they become available...because they are not available yet from my source.
Make sense?
