everytime i step on the break theres a certain spot when something goes eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee in the front and won't stop unless i let go or press the break harder. I'm not sure what it is, but it won't go away. it only happens when the cheros turned on...98 xj

Check ur pads. Rotor. Make shire theres not grains of sand and dirt stuck. Pop the breaks off and put on some stop squeel lube. Make shire the rubber boot in the caliper isnt torn.

It very easily can be the pads. The heavier the veichle the more force it takes to stop it. Expecially if there cheap pads. (The ones on sale for 19.99).

Haha! On my cars i get the cheap ones but on the trucks i splurge a little more to get the better ones. They last longer and make the truck stop better.
