Ever been to the sierras? I'm in northern California. Much different then the southern desert part. I don't live in tahoe but I go often. All I'm saying is it has been discussed. Might want to knock it off before you take off though.

From the intake to the cowl I used part numbers 8698,8698,8705,97611,9832,97611,8698,8708,8698,and terminated it with 8148. It sits beneath a pre-filter screen and I shortened a JK Rugged Ridge cowl scoop (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RGG-1135201/) to keep the snow from covering the screen.

I used a 5" OD filter rather than the 4-inch that is included with that Spectre kit. Right at startup its noisy if you're standing next to the intake outside of the vehicle. Otherwise it's quiet and seems to flow air pretty well.

outa curiosity what would be the point of keeping the stock air box in the routing to under the cowel?
wouldnt it make more sense to remove the airbox for added space and route straight from the throttlebody?
correct me if im wrong cuz id like to do this upgrade long term and geta second battery.
