Good luck getting your 5 on 4.5 wheels to fit the 6 lug hubs that are OEM on Waggy D44s, though...lol. If you have access to a set of Waggy axles I say just cut off old and weld on needed brackets to use the whole Waggy axles.

never knew it was a big deal to get a different set of rims
Heck I am running a set of 73 ford axles with 6 lug outers.... even my 9" has 6 lug outers
As for wheel spacers... I have yet to see a 5x4.5 to 6x 5.5 wheel adapters.. not saying they dont make them.. I just have not found any like that.
