That's exactly what mine does, and yes, I have it aligned. The shop put in an adjustable track bar when they put in the locker and checked it.

I thought that the front axle would be open when in 2wd and that it would behave like it did before the locker since there is no power going to the front end. It grinds and hops around on pavement doing parking lot turns and tight turns at intersections. I'm happy with it, though, since all I do with it is drive from my house to the place where I take it off-road. It's a beast in the mud with the locker.

Since your front axle doesn't have lock-out or otherwise disconnectable hubs, this is normal. The axle shafts and gears are spinning as long as you are driving, although there is no power coming from the transfer case to them.

The front sees less differentiation than the rear does. Probably isn't enough to get the locker to ratchet at lower speeds where the momentum at higher speeds helps "unlock" it for differentiation (this is my educated guess so I could be wrong). I'd hate to have that hop when on snow though (of course you may not have that problem).
