So i want to replace my coil, distributor, plugs and wires. I want to get the best I can get. I have a 1988 renix 4.0 jeep comanche. What are some performance upgrade coils and distributors I can get? Does MSD make anything for the renix years?

Probably. Gonna be a huge waste of money unless you're running a stroker or forced induction. Leave the extra jug of windshield washing fluid at home for all the power you're going to gain on a stock 4.0L lol

I picked up the DUI Firepower Ignition for my 96 and liked it. I drive 90 miles a day and was looking for a little better mpg. It is a little pricy but it was worth it for me. I combined that with 703 injectors, exhaust, 99+ intake and bigger TB. Big difference!! But like I said, I do a 90 mile round trip everyday and wanted the best mpg I could get. I also cruz at 65 mph, am very easy on the skinny pedal and keep up on my maintenance. I correctly get about 17/18 mpg on 31's with 3.55 gears. Putting in 4.10's this week so we will se how that works out. Found a smoking deal on a 8.25 out of a 97 four banger.

Stick with stock coil.

NGK plugs, Taylor wires, Napa Premium cap and rotor.

Index your current distributor (post 13),
