I want some new headlights since stock headlights suck. If anyone has some cheap ones they've put on there that's look somewhat stock, it would be much appreciated if you dropped a link for me. Also, it's a 92 XJ if that changes anything.

I just put new LED headlights on my XJ, difference is amazing. Granted they wont melt snow if you deal with that weather but still I would highly recommend em. Installation was like 10 mins, light output is great, light cutout is sharp so you wont blind people. They are really great lights

I also ordered fog light and pods like in this video and planning to do the same. just waiting on a nice day.

This is the video for the fog and pod lights. I did not use his headlights.

Cheap led off ebay.
I am amazed. I did have one issue and had to cut cooling fins off thelight to get it to sit in light bucket.

I turned the lights on at dusk and y girl friend goes wow.
triedt hit a trail the other night lights worked amazing as we winched our way through snw drifts and around them crawling through the rocks.

dont know what brand mine are they were off ebay. 34 bucks.
I'm sure I could spend 50 and get better.

I recommend everyone do LEDs and stop driving bind.

For a high quality OE look with much better light output consider Hella. DOT approved or there is a European version. Info at post #8 of my build thread https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f46/19...thread-256001/

That's what I've got as well. Definitely go with the e-codes with H4 bulbs over DOT, as the light pattern and output is way better.

Cruiser and Evan are right. Before you do any headlight bulb upgrade, install the harness. You will see an upgrade in your factory light just from that. It will also allow you to get 100% out of whatever light upgrade you want to do. I would steer away from the cheap led if you spend most of your time on the road, the Hella's will work pretty well.

Lots of great information here...plus he links to Daniel Stern, who is even more of a lighting guru. I bought the headlight harness direct from Headlight Services (very high quality), and I bought the Hella E-code headlights he suggests. Using the bulbs that came with them...have not upgraded them to the Osrams. The difference is amazing; likely the best 200 bucks spent for a regularly driven Cherokee.

Agreed on the note about snow above, that's the only reason I stuck with halogen.
