Looking for an upgrade, but easiy install. Stock headlights are terrible. Brights are a hell of alot better, but I don't wanna blind other drivers. Also considering adding 2 driving lights or fog lamps on my bumper.

I wouldn't look DIRECTLY into them. Might burn your retinas.
I however recommend the Silverstars.
They are very bright and can be purchased at most auto parts stores

you could do sliverstars or if you want really good lights you could always go the HID route http://norcalmr2.com/groupbuy/ these are the best HIDS for the cherokee becuase there projectors and wont blind anyone coming towards you as i see that is a concern of yours. a member of the forums (Aj6) has them with the angels eyes and swears by them but sadly they do not have high beams so if you need high beams to pass inspection in your state you could just buy the housing and get 8k bi-xeon set up.
Here are some photos of Aj6's set up

I've heard good things about Autopal. I don't have any personal experience, though.
The HID route is expensive, especially if you go for the projectors. The angel eye projectors are $200, the HID kit is about $100, but does usually come with a pair of bulbs. So that's about $300.
I'd recommend this instead: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/hd...rite-up-11306/
It's a heavy duty headlight harness upgrade. It costs about $60 shipped for the harness. Then you can get the Autopals for about $40 shipped. H4 bulbs cost $20-$50 depending on what you get. So should be around $150 max. Half the cost, and very good results.

well the HID do run a little pricey but you do get what you pay for the kit that is shown in the pictures runs $290 with everything. if thats to pricey for you at the moment than i would recommend the sliverstars they are a big improvement over stock another thing you could do is rewire the stock lights to gett better voltage for some reason the xj runs 9.5 instead of the 13.5 that most other cars run. that would improve your lighting the cheapest but requires a little elbow grease. so it all depends the route you want to go. ive seen that projector kit in person and its amazing and not badly priced at all. if you want more info on those projectors hit up aj6 and he will help you.

I went with the el cheapo diamond headlights on ebay and they arent that grat but do improve over stock, but the autopal kc knockoffs are nice for the price. they dont have a wide beam but a spot light. if you put two on the front they make an 8 sideways and i love them for the price. i put the blue h3 bulbs in and they are bright. heres my autopals but my diamond lights arent in the pic.
